Privacy Policy
Effective August 4, 2026. EverQR is operated by WOCxO, LLC. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we never store visitor IP addresses, and we do not sell or share data with advertisers.
What we collect and why
- QR codes you create. The destination URL, an optional label, and creation date. For free codes we briefly keep the creating IP address solely for abuse prevention (rate limiting); it is deleted automatically within 7 days.
- Scan analytics. When someone scans a code, we record the time, approximate location (country, region, and city derived in transit, never the scanner's IP address), the referring page if any, and a shortened browser identifier. Scanners are never individually identified or tracked across sites.
- Site analytics. Aggregate page views on everqr.io (page, time, country, referrer). First party only. No Google Analytics, no advertising trackers, no fingerprinting.
- Pro accounts. Your email address and subscription status. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers. See Stripe's privacy policy for their handling.
- Waitlist. An email address you chose to give us, used only for EverQR product updates.
Cookies
The only cookie we set is a session cookie when a Pro customer signs in. It is strictly functional. There are no advertising or cross-site cookies, which is why you see no cookie banner.
Where data lives
Data is stored on Cloudflare's global infrastructure. Emails are sent through Resend. Payments run on Stripe. These are our only processors.
Your rights
You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Deleting a dynamic QR code's data will stop its redirect from working, so we will confirm before acting. If you are in the EU or UK, you have the rights described in the GDPR, including complaint to your supervisory authority.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will note it here with a new effective date.
